With reference to your letter No.92640/32 of the
30th April, I am directed by Secretary Sir John Simon to
transmit to you herewith copy of a further Note which
has been received from the Japanese Embassy on the
subject of the proposal for a direct wireless service
between Hongkong and Japan.
2. Sir John Simon would be glad if he could be informed
as soon as it is known when the transfer of the Hongkong
wireless service to Imperial and International
Communications Limited will be effected, in order that
he may be able to reply to the Japanese Embassy on this
point.
